A US CIVIL WAR UNION INFANTRYMAN'S BELT SET, INCLUDING BAYONET, CAP POUCH AND BUCKLE. circa early 1860s. includes socket bayonet for the Springfield musket, black leather scabbard and frog, black leather belt with brass 'US' buckle, black leather cap pouch with inside flap maker-marked 'EA BAKER / NEW YORK', bayonet stained with surface rusting, buckle grazed with dented rim, all leatherwork worn, scabbard with damaged chape and missing locket, frog repaired and leather torn, pouch with broken strap and some split stitching
